Professional Skills
In the past few months, I have gained more experience than before through daily creation and exhibitions, and at the same time, I have realized some problems that I have never considered. First is the problem about the placement and handling of the works during the filet exhibition, I didn’t realize that the smell of the works would affect the audience, so the works could not be placed in the expected position but placed close to box on the ground. This makes it harder for the work to be noticed by the audience, and the aroma that should have played a role is weakened. If I can consider the hidden dangers of this work earlier, I can make better arrangements.

The work had to place under the table in order to keep away from audience to make sure won’t cause any issue.
When making the piece for the Bargehouse Show, I did not consider the toxicity of the glass paint used for coloring to cause discomfort or allergic reactions during use, although no harmful residues will remain after the paint dries. However, it is still necessary to consider the protective measures during the creation process. It should be used in a ventilated environment and ensure that the smell is completely dissipated before being used for display. Fortunately, this use only caused slight discomfort to the artist, and did not affect the audience or cause more serious consequences.
When setting up the Bargehouse Exhibition, I did not pre-consider the placement of the works and the appropriate display height, so I did not prepare the plinth for the exhibition in advance and had to find usable one temporarily. Fortunately, the setting up was completed before the opening of the exhibition, which did not affect the display of works. If I didn’t finish the exhibition in time, it will greatly affect the viewing effect of the work. If the work is placed directly on the ground instead of on the plinth, it will be difficult for the audience to observe the details of the work more conveniently, which means my work wouldn’t be able to convey the concept I want to express.

The work was place on the floor without plinth
Generally speaking, I learned many problems that I had never imagined before through personal experience and improved my understanding of works and display methods in this unit, so as to make my future study more mature and take into account more possibilities .
